What You'll DoAs a Vice President, IT - Global Tools & Storage,you'll be part of our Global ITteam located Remotely.You'll get to:

Key Responsibilities:Serves as an advisor to Global Tools & Storage (GT&S) business to shape their strategyregardingtechnology andeducate partners about IT processes, roles, products, and capabilities. This role will have responsibility for all the GTS Regions (NA, LAG, EMEA, and Asia). The leader will need to build strategic relationships with the respective business presidents effectively. Develops methodologies andstrategies using various communication tools to inform, persuade, influence, direct, and facilitateanalysis and communication between business and IT. This role will partner closely with the Commercial, E-commerce, and Global functions.

  • Act as the principal technology advisor and thought leader to the Commercial, E-commerce, and Global functions within Global Tools & Storage business.
  • Champion to the business for identifying and driving innovative IT solutions.
  • Lead IT transformation that drives business results.
  • Communicates business needs with the technology solutions team to gain alignment between businessneeds and technical capabilities.
  • Influences and contributes to the overall corporate platform architecture, IT strategy, and IT roadmap.
  • Represents IT within the business by maintaining a high degree of visibility within the business andattending business meetings and appropriate management forums, providing a central point ofinformation for all related IT activities
  • Partners with the business to form/improve process and systems solutions that are appropriate andadequate to satisfy both tactical and strategic business needs
  • Ensure project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication and managingescalation/risk.
  • Leads the quarterly forecasting and IT annual budgeting and planning process for the assignedbusiness units and tracks IT spend
  • Drives evaluations of IT project objectives and analyzes new business initiatives.
  • Drives necessary change and accountability within the business and IT Leadership to achieveinitial and lasting value from IT Initiatives.

  • Undergraduate degree and 15+ years relevant experience, or
  • Graduate degree and 12-15 years relevant experience.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 10+ years leadership experience along with People Management responsibility
  • Stakeholder relationship management and engagement at all levels
  • Understanding of future technologies
  • Business acumen and Finance principles
  • Understanding of industry including financials, market trends, opportunities, and threats
  • Business case development includes identifying metrics that drive value
  • Portfolio and Program Management
  • Knowledge of required technologies (incl 3rd party solutions)
  • Application domain knowledge
