We're hiring Embedded Software Engineers across a variety of teams to bring new products and innovative solutions to life. Who You AreYou're an innovator, a tinkerer, a DIYer, a maker, a creator You enjoy breaking things down and rebuilding. You understand high-volume production and fault-tolerant design within a fast-paced global manufacturing environment. You also have:
  • A willingness to relocate within driving distance to one of our Engineering hubs in Towson, Maryland, or Huntersville, North Carolina, (if not already living here)
    • The frequency you will be in the office will vary from team to team and where the product is in its development lifecycle.
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited computer/electrical engineering college
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Embedded software (bare metal/no OS) design
    • Embedded software debugging/system troubleshooting
    • Development of embedded 8bit/16bit/32bit microcontrollers in C, C, or ASM
    • Embedded communications peripherals (I2C, CAN, SPI, UART)
    • Code written in assembly language (understanding; writing a plus)
    • Lithium ion battery management
    • Common motor or switched inverter control techniques
    • Feedback control algorithms
    • Bluetooth
    • Radio Frequency
    • Power electronic firmware
