POSITION SUMMARY

PAE is seeking a Site Manager for a position, pending contract award, to function as the overall lead, manager and administrator for all contracted effort in Patuxent River, MD.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Manages the CLS of aircraft, aircraft and weapon systems required to complete the requirement owner(s) program (s) T&E requirements.
  • Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government and contractor T&E program authorities.
  • Oversees contractor personnel job performance supporting T&E operations by developing procedures, planning and directing execution of the maintenance and administrative support effort and by establishing monitoring and reporting with the Government leads.
  • Manages employment of program/ project resources and controls financial and administrative aspects of the program/ project with respect to the contract requirements.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations, overseeing multiple departments or locations.
  • Formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. Usually manage through subordinate supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Four years of recent experience in a DOD Contractor logistic services support management role.
  • Six years of personnel supervision experience.
  • Four years of NAVAIR or other DOD acquisition command experience.
  • Six years' experience managing aircraft and aircraft systems maintenance at DCMA 8210 or FAA standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large and diverse teams and effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision of contracted effort such as quality control and compliance.
  • Knowledge of the NAVAIRINST 3710.1G and or CNAFINST 4790.2.
  • Demonstrated experience with CBA and management of a unionized workforce.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated experience with the requirements of the DOD 5000 series.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or Engineering discipline.
