Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will act as the team lead in designing and developing advanced solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications, as well as coach and mentor team members.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKEThe End User Services - Technology Engineering - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Apply your advanced skills and knowledge to develop solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.
  • Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms and account for interrelated functionality and processes when developing designs.
  • Establish and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions and lead the team in addressing identified issues.
  • With the focus of Fannie Mae moving as much our work force to the cloud as possible the need for additional Engineering resources is required. The candidate must be familiar with cloud based virtualization that delivers DaaS (Desktop as a Service) to the firm's end user community.

Minimum Required Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Desired Experiences

  • 5 - 7 years' experience working in a large enterprise network.
  • 5 - 7 years' experience working with Microsoft Azure, AWS and publishing desktop images, etc
  • 3 - 5 years working with Workspace One Horizon, Unified Endpoint Management, etc
  • Ability Collaborate with vendors to optimize product performance and functionality
  • Working knowledge of PKI infrastructure
  • Familiar working in the Agile model
  • Familiar with Active Directory
  • Knowledgeable delivering RDSH and Persistent DaaS images
  • Knowledgeable in cloud-cloud communications, integration, and orchestration
  • Analyze technical issues, report on and help prioritize daily tasks as needed
  • Demonstrated skills in effective written\verbalcommunications and system documentation
  • Familiar with tools such as JIRA, Confluence
  • Willingness to learn new technologies as required.

Skills

  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal.
  • Experience monitoring and managing operation systems (OS), and staying current on patches, upgrades, and other elements of the OS.
  • Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.
  • Ability to frame ideas as systems and analyzing the inputs, outputs, and process.
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information. Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions.
  • Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing.
  • Determining causes of operating errors and taking corrective action
  • Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
