This position will be in Kansas City, MO Summary: The Analyst Principal Sourcing is a pivotal role for the Supply Chain Management Center team, providing expertise, leadership and support for the SCMC processes and initiatives. The candidate will also provide detailed analytical support for making fact-based decisions and recommendations for the group to support enterprise wide sourcing efforts. The Analyst Principal Sourcing will have strong sourcing and procurement background including demonstrated experience coupled with broad supply chain knowledge which can be leveraged to support and lead productivity or improvement projects. Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate strategic direction for the SCMC SAC team with the overall SCMC strategy

Lead the STRAP, Annual Operating Plan and Technology Roadmap processes for the SCMC department, which includes formation, implementation, execution, and status update

Organize and drive the SCMC Management Operations Review process and scorecard reporting

Works alongside the department leader to develop a long-term vision for the SCMC business function and translates the vision into an executable plan

Create and manage implementation of strategic projects including project plans, overall tracking capability, reporting of progress within team and up through leadership

Primary point of contact for SCMC information systems, tools, and data

Work closely with Contractors and IT to integrate systems implementation

Support the Strategic Commodity Teams, as required

Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement projects within the team or across functions

Support Honeywell Operating System (HOS) initiatives

Design, coordinate and perform critical business analytics for SCMC initiatives

Design and deploy sourcing processes and tools in support of analytics

Responsible for analyzing, understanding, and managing critical process information

Develop benchmarking, best practices & competitive analysis techniques

You Must Have:

Must be US Citizen due to ITAR/Export requirements

Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, technical or related field is required

10+ years closely related experience in Sourcing, Integrated Supply Chain, SIOP and / or Aerospace Business leadership within a manufacturing environment is required

Sourcing or procurement experience within a Federal contracting environment

Knowledge of Federal contracting requirements including a working understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

Superiority in utilizing strategic integrative thinking, understanding the global commodity landscape and linking it to sourcing strategies

Exhibited successful ability with indirect leadership of diverse teams crafting complex statements of work (SOW), negotiating & deploying large multi-site agreements

Established ability to manage multiple complex projects at once

Demonstrated capacity to meet aggressive deadlines while achieving solid business results Readiness/adaptability to mobile working environment -MBA preferred -Six Sigma Green Belt certification; Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus
