Support Services Technician (SST)
National Spine & Pain Centers, the nation's largest interventional pain management practice, is seeking a qualified and energetic Support Services Technician (SST) to support the team at our Hagerstown, MD location.
Our SSTs work under the administrative supervision of the Center Manager, with clinical guidance and direction from the Physician.
The Support Services Technician primary responsibilities includes collecting specimens from patients and ensuring specimens are appropriately marked for delivery to the lab; fitting patients with braces, as prescribed by the appropriate provider; explaining the use of the TENS unit to patients and associated supplies; and providing assistance as needed in the office. (25-35 Patients a day)
Monday -Friday 8:00am 4:30pm
Successful candidates will possess the following qualities and more:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year of related administrative experience in a healthcare environment, required.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, required.
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality of information at all times.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving, criminal, employment reference, education, and social security.
