THE EMPLOYER Take your career up a few notches with this a nonprofit healthcare corporation and currently operates several medical institutions in and around Baltimore, Maryland THE JOB This is a Director of Facilities & Maintenance position and requires someone who has the technical background with infrastructure equipment or engineering. As a Director of Facilities & Maintenance your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Directs, leads and manages all activities associated with the Facilities and Maintenance Departments
- Responsible for department oversight, budget attainment, coordination of equipment downtime resolution,
- Leads preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance activities, project management, continuous improvement, waste reduction, an employee safety.
- Initiates and establishes energy contracts.
- Coordinates and communicates with peers to resolve long term facility and maintenance issues that affect operational capacity and quality.
- Leads a team of 22 professionals including a manager, team leads, stationary engineers, HVAC techs, carpenters/painters, and general maintenance staff.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior experience in facilities management and technical background with infrastructure equipment
