As a Test Automation Engineer supporting CMS, the candidate will be trusted to develop automation framework for microservices, test releases during short sprints, and create and maintain test cases and test documents. Note: release testing could require work during non-business hours (i.e., there may be some evening/weekend/holiday work). In this role, a typical day will include:
- Developing and maintaining end-to-end automation testing frameworks and automation suites for front end and back-end testing of a responsive portal application which uses microservices
- Creating, maintaining, and updating Portal test automation suites
- Developing automation scripts utilizing different browser tools, and mobile capabilities
- Maintaining Enterprise Portal automation framework design and execution document
- Conducting and/or participating in peer reviews of automation scripts code
- Creating dashboard reports and updates with automation test cases, test results
- Maintaining and executing smoke and regression scripts by adding new features and updating/fixing existing features due to requirements/environmental changes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience as a test automation developer
- 5+ years of experience with remote and distributed testing using Selenium Grid
- 3+ years of experience using Protractor to develop test automation for AngularJS-based applications
- 3+ years of experience developing automated scripts for RESTful services and integrating them with Jenkins/GIT
- 3+ years of experience with API test frameworks, such as Mocha, Chai, Jasmine
- 3+ years of experience in scripting languages, such as NodeJS
- 3+ years of experience developing testing documentation, such as Test Summary Reports and requirements traceability reports
- 2+ years of experience defect tracking tools such as JIRA and TestRail
- Experience with API automation for serverless tools, such as AIML and Ranorax
- Experience in Jenkins CI/CD configurations, creating Jenkins scripting utilizing Groovy
- Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
- US citizen or a Green Card holder
- Health Care Industry or Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a SAFe environment and/or working with Agile teams
- Active SAFe Certification
- JAVA Development background
- 3+ years of experience with CURL and HTTP tools
- Detail oriented, with strong follow-up skills to ensure completion of test completion
