Description of Work:
- Provide automated testing support for various web applications and services including but not limited to Modern Cloud based applications, by writing and running automated tests and providing training to employees.
- Experience testing in modern enterprise using Jenkins deployment tools.
- Documentation using Confluence, JIRA.
- Attend orientation meeting to introduce key project personnel; define roles and responsibilities; and review the purpose, scope, and objectives.
- Assist in proactively avoiding any intermittent software functionality problems and assist organization with its scheduled delivery of systems to the user community.
- Provide monitoring and other oversight activities for functionality problems.
- Provide documentation for automation testing with Cucumber Java and Selenium.
- Provide Automated testing scripts for Web based applications using Cucumber Java and Selenium or other automated tools.
- Create and run web/mainframe testing scripts.
- Automation testing as an Automated Testing Analyst with extensive work experience is required to analyze user stories and develop test plan, test scenarios, and test scripts for an application to process disability claims. The qualified candidate will also create test data analysis and perform end-to-end system testing for interface between multiple applications.
- Designs test plans for complex distributed systems in accordance with overall testing strategy.
- Participate in the full life cycle of design and execution of manual and automated test scripts.
- Develop and execute maintainable automation tests.
- Bachelors Degree and 7 years of work experience; Masters and 5 years of experience; or a minimum 11 years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 7 years of experience: with HP LoadRunner tool, Selenium Java, Java Cucumber, Ready API and other automated testing tools.
- Minimum 7 years of experience with Performance testing of mainframe and Web based applications.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in developing automation test scenarios using automated testing framework and infrastructure.
- Minimum 5 years of experience or more developing test strategies, creating automated test cases, executing and maintaining test scenarios, and preparing test plans and defect reports for stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on Core Java, Selenium Webdriver and web services.
- Minimum 5 years of experience on Testing frameworks including Selenium, Junit, Cucumber, TestNG.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with VBScript.
- Minimum 5 years of experience using Maven, GIT and Bitbucket.
- Able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust Clearance.
- Automated testing experience for Web based applications in a modern enterprise cloud environment.
- Exposure to API Testing tools like Ready API, SoapUI, Postman, RestAssured.
- Experience and understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience and understanding on SQLs.
- Exposure to testing tools like QTP/UFT.
- Experience and knowledge of Agile testing and developing.
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms.
