DevOps Build/Release Engineer

Andover MA

Contract role

The DevOps Engineer should have experience with of Linux fundamentals and knowledge on one or more scripting language is a must. For example - Python, Ruby, Pearl etc. Have experience with compiling LINUX and UNIX into Windows projects.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years configuration management and release experience
  • Linux Fundamentals and scripting
  • Knowledge of Various DevOps Tools and Technologies
  • Good knowledge on these development, testing and deployment technologies.
  • Python Scripting or PERL Scripting Language
Compiling and Building Windows 10 and Linus mixed projects:

  • MAKE
  • NMAKE
  • Cross Platform compilation:
  • UNIX to DOS scripting
  • CYGWIN
Preferred Experience:

  • Perforce, GitHub Build Tools
  • Experience with Perforce and GitHub Configuration Management Tools
Education:

  • BS, MS or MSCS in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 Years total work experience, preferably with responsibility for successful SW develop as part of a product.
Other Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills a plus
  • Familiar with SW spiral development process
  • SW Automated Testing processes and systems (e.g. TFS)
