Job Description

This position is accountable for developing and implementing product marketing strategies and plans to drive Straumann North America’s market penetration and growth. In this highly visible leadership position, the individual will manage a team of Product Managers to optimize the product portfolio and achieve launch success. S/he will report to the VP of Marketing and Education, North America.

Job ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Develop strategic and operational marketing plans for NAM dental implant and biomaterial business Effectively analyze customer insights, brand performance, market trends, and competitive response and develop strategic plans to addresses key challenges and capitalize on high impact business opportunities Foster strong collaborative working relationships with external and internal customers and positively influence with senior management alignment and decisions Champion innovation, seek learnings from the market, create business cases and drive product development and improvement beyond the existing solutions through close interaction with the global headquarters Work in synergy with all NAM functions to drive NAM launch excellence and ensure seamless communication Collaborate with MarCom to develop marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and sales enablement tools needed to achieve sales goals Recruit and develop top product marketing talent; lead and coach the PM team to present strategic plan and communicate product performance to the NAM Leadership Team Update product forecasts on a regular basis and collaborate with Finance and Logistics to ensure proper sales projection and supply management

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or technology. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product marketing in medical device or biotech industry, in positions of increasing responsibilities. Prior experience of managing staff and diverse product lines.
  • Strong leadership skills to lead the overall strategic planning and execution of key deliverables
  • Proven leadership ability to lead US teams with proven examples of global partnerships
  • Prior experience managing & developing high performing teams preferred
  • Strong track record of taking ownership, agility, collaboration, and communication
  • Prior clinician marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in customer focus, message development and marketing analytics; ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships
