Job Description

The Director of SAP and BSPS serves as the North American (NAM) Regional Leader and Subject Matter Expert for all NAM SAP systems and all other relevant applications related activities. The position focuses on leading the future vision of SAP, and related systems business needs. The Director of SAP and BSPS will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

· Responsible for budgeting and forecasting for department and project spending.

· Responsible for roadmap of service systems, architecture, design, business process and solution implementations for the North America Region.

· Evolves critical business strategies by directing the development, implementation, and maintenance of SAP and SAP related systems.

· Builds critical relationships with Global SAP and IT contacts at HQ where we present our needs, remove barriers and influence getting improved service and timelines for North America region.

· Participate in all aspects of the application lifecycle: requirements analysis & definition, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment. Establish standards and procedures to ensure the technical team works in a consistent manner and maintains validated state of systems.

· Works with Management, business, and IT stakeholders to lead, facilitate and support characterization of demand and portfolio management (planning, prioritization & execution).

· Leads the activities of SAP North America Business Process Support Team. Provides management and coordination of available resources for Projects/Change requests.

· Manages an internal team of 2 Business Analyst and the SAP Business Applications Manager.

· Creates and Manages a local network of external SAP consultants to drive improved business solutions.

· Works with Management to ensure internal SAP team related activities support the Strategic objectives of the company. Prepares and submits reports outlining team assignments and/or project status changes. Evaluates and develops the most effective business analysis services.

· Offers advice and support on effective project management and implementation of agreed business solutions or process changes.

· Responsible for budgeting and forecasting for department or project spending.

· The position is also responsible for defining detailed requirements for new applications, advising, and following up on Change Requests.

· Influence direct and indirect teams that focus on service applications.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in business or computer science.

· 10 years of experience in the areas of development, project management, and technical business analysis with at least five years of management responsibility.

· Expert knowledge of all areas of SAP Business Applications and other relevant local applications.

· Excellent management skills with the ability to manage the company's Technical Business Analyst activity.

· Able to design and develop new solutions that benefit the organization and support the organization in implementing strategies and improving operational excellence.

· Exceptional Project Management skills, with excellence in time management, communications, decision making, presentation, interpersonal relations, and organization skills.

· Strong “customer service” mindset ad commitment to excellence.
