Job Description

This position will be responsible for supporting DSO clients and clinicians, existing and new, on the clinical education & support and operational workflows offered through the Straumann Group’s products and services. This expanding, high volume, high dollar DSO clients requires the attention and support of a focused manager who will identify and understand the customer’s structure and provide the appropriate solution, training and support for each client on the clinical, digital and laboratory workflows. This role must work closely with doctors, clinical staff and management in order to ensure the highest quality customer experience. This individual will focus on supporting the Straumann Group implant brands from a surgical and restorative standpoint along with other products and services. This role will report to the Head of Clinical Affairs, DSO, North America.

Major Responsibilities of the Position: Become proficient with Straumann Neodent, Medentika, all digital solutions and all other products and services offered by the Straumann Group North America. Working with the Head of Clinical Affairs and Workflows to create and manage education offerings for DSO clients, marketing, sales, and other key functional areas of the company. Meeting with client’s Clinical Advisory Board members to communicate product and solutiondevelopments as well as a continuous update on the education programs being offered to their companies. Presenting to and educating clinicians and staff, sales representatives and all levels of corporate client personnel, including CABs and C-suite professionals. Supports, conducts, and manages the content of internal training initiatives. Support the Director of Digital Workflows, DSO, North America on the coordination of digital projects (including digital exploration days, prior to sale) and proper rollout of new products installs, training & education and workflow support for clients and sales force. Support the Manager of Lab Affairs, DSO, North America on the coordination of lab projects and offerings and proper training & education of clients and sales force on the Straumann Group laboratory workflows. Promote milled solutions from Arlington to the doctors and lab managers in the centers, according to the DSO team strategy. Work with the TMs to ensure the clients centers are receiving appropriate service and support. Identify opportunities within the clients to increase SOW. Attend and exhibit at clients’ conferences annually, as required by the DSO team strategy. Attend AO, AAOMS, ACP and/ or other dental conferences annually as required by the DSO team strategy. Partner with DSO team members to develop new business opportunities. Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

DDS, DMD or equivalent degree. At least 3 years of experience in clinical practice as a dentist. Prior experience with Implant restorative & laboratory workflows as well as fixed and removable Implant prosthodontics is strongly preferred. Prior experience in training & education initiatives is strongly preferred. Prior experience with IOS and CAD/CAM technology is strongly preferred. Highly collaborative and a strong consensus builder, capable of exercising positive influence in driving outcomes and negotiating solutions. Strong, solid written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure. Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstration of the player learner mindset. Ability to learn and support new digital products and workflows.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: Field based position working with and supporting many partners and stakeholders. 70% travel required.
