This well-known Boston-based e-commerce company is looking for a talented Senior System Administrator to join their team. In the role you'll be remotely overseeing the company's datacenter located in Andover, MA. This position will have primary support responsibility using VMWare, AWS, Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019. In this role you'll be troubleshooting tickets and generally supporting users, creating runbooks, and contributing to the companies datacenter cloud migration. You'll be working in a Windows environment and using tools including Exchange, active directory, VMware, and Cisco. You'll also be doing some networking (firewalls, routers, switches, etc.). Applicants must be local to the Boston area and be able to travel to Andover, MA in case something in the datacenter cannot be remotely fixed. This is a 1-2 year contract.
Responsibilities:- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the Sys Admin world
- Must be proficient working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Must be proficient with Windows server infrastructure, patching, configuring Windows servers.
- Hands-on experience with the following technologies: Windows server 2012, 2016, 2019, VMWare vCenter, active directory, Microsoft Exchange, O365
