Description SAIC is seeking DevSecOps engineers who want to be a part of a team responsible for evolving and transforming the AF Cloud One DevSecOps environment. Cloud One is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure hosting mission systems, applications, services, and data that will serve the U.S. Air Force (USAF) and U.S. Army (USA). CloudOne incorporates the capabilities of commercial cloud and Managed Service Providers (MSP) residing in Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Cloud One facilitates the USAF and USA's efforts to migrate applications to a cloud environment, allowing the closure of data centers to support the Data Center Optimization Initiative (DCOI) and allowing for increased efficiencies across the entire spectrum of the USAF and USA's IT operations. Standardize C1 DevSecOps pipeline workflows to include:
  • Integration between management and repository tool suites for smart comments and notifications during commits/merges without (or minimally) switching tools.
  • Health status pages of services viewable by all key stakeholders with incident notifications when they occur linked to management tool.
  • Linking production service tickets (both requests and incidents) into the management tool with standard notification flows
  • Requiring fields for tickets/issues before creation within management tool
  • Commit message convention configuration and process in IDE tools
Notifications/Alarms in health monitoring tools integrated with management tools Change Management decisions directly linked to Configuration Baselines Add additional CI/CD tools into common services pipeline to accommodate customer preference Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 2 years integrating DevSecOps tool chains.
  • Minimum IAT II Certification (or equivalent) or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Experience implementing and integrating DevSecOps tool chains for AWS or Azure Cloud to include some of the following
    • Project Management Tools (e.g. Atlassian Tools, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc.)
    • Incident Management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
    • Cloud Monitoring Tools (e.g. AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor/Sentinel, OCI Monitor, etc.)
    • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g. Amazon Workspaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc.)
    • Kubernetes design, deployment, operations, and sustainment
    • Configuration Management
    • Operations and Sustainment or System Administration of a DevSecOps Pipeline
    • Identity Provider & Management
    • Network Security
  • Documentation for projects including design, asset inventory, diagrams, and presentation to customers is required.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • An AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification
  • MCSE or MCTS, Azure certifications (AZ 100, AZ 500, and/or other AZ series exams, 346/7 are bonus), Azure Assessments
  • Experience in an MSP or other IT company highly desirable

REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:
  • Minimum Interim Secret with the ability to obtain final Secret Clearance
