Job Title: General Production Operator/PlaterJob DescriptionThis position is for someone looking to learn a new manufacturing skill. Candidates will work to plate metal materials in different chemicals through a bath process. They will review job cards and determine how to run each part because each customer order is different. The candidate will clean the material before starting the process, ensuring no dust or dirt is on each part. They will then determine how long the part needs to be run and execute the process accordingly, depending on the size and density of the piece. After running the part through the bathing process, they will inspect the part visually to ensure there are no noticeable defects.Responsibilities

Review job cards to determine the plating process for each part.

Clean materials to ensure no dust or dirt is present before plating.

Determine the duration needed for the plating process based on the size and density of the part.

Run the plating process according to specifications.

Inspect finished parts visually to ensure there are no defects.

Essential Skills

At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.

Ability to lift 20+ lbs.

Ability to follow work instructions.

Qualifications

Prior plating or manufacturing experience.

Ability to read blueprints.

Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers.

Masking experience.

Candidates will be supplied with PPE including gloves, glasses, steel-toed shoes, aprons, and arm sleeves. The second shift hours are from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, with a 10% shift differential.
