ABA Therapist
We are looking for a teacher/tutor to work at the client’s home in Wilmington, Massachusetts. We are seeking qualified individuals to work with the child. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field. Previous experience working with children with autism is strongly preferred, but not required.
In this role you will be expected to provide 1:1 behaviorally based treatment to children with autism. A positive attitude is a must. Preferred candidates will possess ample amounts patience and compassion, strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication skills, and exhibit a high degree of accuracy in data-keeping, and resilience in handling challenging behavior. You will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and will receive ongoing training opportunities.

Determining at risk students who need tutoring services
Provide academic assistance and study strategies to assigned students and prospective students
Assist nursing students in both tutoring and advising
Teach students good study skills and habits
Share expertize and help students
Provide academic assistance to students in the areas of math and/or reading
Create tutor-child pairings for each hour
Encourage students with sincere enthusiasm
Providing academic tutoring to students in various subject areas on an individual basis by providing students with specialized assistance in academic skill areas
Formulate a tutoring plan designed to address students' needs
Help students develop the study skills necessary for academic success
Improve reading, writing, and math skills
Discuss student's progress and develop academic progress plans for students
Motivate students and provide with confidence
