A blockchain intelligence company based in Mass but hiring 100% remotely is looking for a Principal Automation Engineer to be their first test engineering hire. This isn't a crypto or NFT startup, rather an intelligence company that focuses on the technical performance of these blockchain networks, not just what is being sold/exchanged. The candidate will need to have end to end testing experience but previous language/tools aren't required as you'll have ownership over implementing the tools you want. It's a big plus if you have experience in CI/CD, Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform. This is the first Test Engineering focused hire. They have a test driven development methodology implemented so a lot of the Engineers are testing their own code and infrastructure but no one is solely focused on expanding test automation at this time. It's a high impact role where you will be able to contribute in a massive way. Required Skills & Experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineering in Test or SDET
- Experience building out automation frameworks from scratch
- Python, Java, or JavaScript coding ability
- Selenium Webdriver
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins or Gitlab
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Docker/Kubernetes containerization/orchestration experience
- 80% Hands On
