100% REMOTE We're looking for a senior-level Java Backend Engineer for our client in Boston, an organization supporting over a million members.

Requirements of the Senior Java Backend Engineer:

At least 5 years of experience developing software interfaces via collaboration
At least 5 years of experience consuming and creating APIs
In-depth understanding of REST and other API design concepts
Experience troubleshooting errors in large, distributed systems in a 24/7 production environment
Web services written in JVM languages (Java, Groovy, Kotlin, Scala) and/or Ruby
Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Oracle)
Microservice architectures
Messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ)
