They have recently made a multi-million dollar investment into the formation of a new team called the Global Connected Car Team. They have began building this 35+ person team with the intention of responding to the increasing pace and interest between automakers and insurance providers. This engages consumers about trends such as driving behavior information, collision detection, and other programs that connectivity enables. This will allow both car insurance companies and automakers to get better understandings of their customers and their driving habits.
The Position:- Senior Level Engineer (minimum 5 years of Java Experience)
- 6 month contract with opportunity to go full time after
- Company is very good at treating people well if you work hard for them, shifting to different teams they think you'd be good for.
- Minimum 5 years Java experience
- 3 years Spring
- 3 years Microservices
- AWS experience is a big plus
- Can pay up to $65/hr, DOE
- 100% remote, can work from anywhere
- eager to hire, possibility of permanent position at end of contract
