Wells Fargo Wholesale Banking Technology is seeking an experienced Application Engineer with responsibilities for strategy, execution and system quality of multiple Wells Fargo customer facing applications. The selected candidate will play a critical role in defining, and enhancing the online banking applications utilized by end customers of the Commercial Lending businesses.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive system analyst support and will be responsible for building out automation test practices for multiple mission critical applications. The resource will have responsibility for the quality of all enhancements and the stability of the online portals including ensuring all deployments follow development standards, and meet business requirements. In fulfilling these requirements, the individual should expect to work closely with the functional teams, development and quality assurance teams.This role requires a proven technical skills set that has been demonstrated in the deployment of business critical java applications and their integration into enterprise systems. Must provide individual and project support for complex projects or applications, adhere to project timelines and technical deliverables within different client environments.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide direction on Automation strategy and execution.
Leads testing teams, development teams and project teams onshore and offshore to provide training, resolve escalated issues, assess testing needs, and recommend changes.
Creates, prioritizes and directs quality assurance and test execution activities.
Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff to resolve critical and non-routine scenarios.
Provide leadership in Agile transformation
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of application development and implementation experience
4+ years of HP ALM experience
3+ years of Agile experience
4+ years of JIRA experience
10 + years of automation or regression testing experience
7 + years of experience designing and implementing solutions for test automation using Selenium and Java
3+ years of leadership experience including coaching, training, or mentoring
Desired Qualifications:
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Wholesale banking experience
Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: strategies, test plans, test cases ,and test scripts development
Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: test planning and executing in systems such as: Test Tool, Quality Center, or ClearQuest
