Associate I - Performance Analytics

Job Duties and Responsibilities:Works independently as well as on a team to produce performance analytics at multiple levels

Respond to inquiries from clients and various business stakeholders regarding performance reporting

Maintain accounts and respective reporting set up during fund launch and liquidation events

Identify and resolve issues relating to daily performance reporting

Validate returns and provide support documents for performance calculations upon request

Acts as a resource and representative for the performance group internally and externally

Establish and maintain relationships with all key partners to help streamline the core operations processing through people, process & technology changes

Partner with Product Development and Technology to help automate/streamline operations processes which enhance client experience and build scalability into the business

Translate new business requirements from clients to Technology partners and create bespoke performance reports

Conduct user testing for data automation initiatives or reporting where required

Calculate and interpret multiple types of rates of return including: returns net and gross of fees, hedged and unhedged, based and local currencies, etc.

Handle client reporting and prepare custom reports, ensuring accuracy and quality

Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience working in a performance and/or accounting environment required

BA/BS or equivalent preferably in accounting/finance or engineering

Excel proficiency is a must

Must have a willingness to work on and learn new software applications

Attention to detail with demonstrated problem solving ability strongly desired

Positive attitude with a willingness to work hard and be on a steep learning curve

Must have good communications skills and be a team player

Ability to multitask and manage to strict deadlines

Familiarity with industry standard performance measurement methodologies for institutional asset owners

MBA, CFA, CIPM candidates preferred
