Job Summary

We are looking for someone who can multi-task in a very fast-paced environment and is eager and willing to learn and grow in an established company with great culture and atmosphere. Job would include but not be limited to order review and creation in our system, interfacing with our title examiners & sister offices, creating commitments, review documents for accuracy & document retrieval as needed.

Essential Functions

Places title searches with examiners and manages the open order process. Reviews search documents, reviews legal descriptions for accuracy, prepares title commitments.

Searches, examines and interprets real estate documents such as deeds, deeds of trust, assignments and reconveyances, subdivision maps, assessor parcel maps, moderately complex metes and bounds legal descriptions, section and lot and block from direct base working directly with title officer, marketing and escrow team

Communicates recording information and prepares legal property documents such as endorsements.

Communicates professionally with all customers

Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used

Strong time management skills

Proficient in MS Office.

Familiarity with several office software packages which include word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics and desktop publishing applications

Fluency in company operating systems (i.e., FAST proprietary title and escrow platform)

Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Must be able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times

Strong detail orientation

Typical Education

High School diploma or equivalent; college preferred

Typical Range of Experience

Law firm or title industry experience preferred but not required
