Location: Boston MAMaxima Consulting is looking for a Sr. Data Lake Developer with 8+ years of experience. The candidate should have experience with Financial Services and have excellent communications skills. Technology skills:

Cloudera Hadoop based skills: Hive/Impala/Spark/Sqoop/HBASE/Navigator/Atlas
Kafka
Knowledge of Databricks is a plus
Elastic Search (ELK stack) is a plus
Apigee API gateway/Open API specs
Knowledge of AWS/S3 based technologies
Knowledge of ML libraries is a plus
Knowledge of Data Governance tools like Collibra is a plus
Knowledge of Data Quality tools like Apache Griffin
Good in big data architecture, data modeling and design
Overall 7+ years’ experience

Job description:

Do various POCs on Datalake Using BI tools, API, Elastic Search etc.
Migrate data to Datalake/Lake house architecture
Enhance Data Governance around the data lake
Enhance Data Quality around the data lake
Hands on Development

Create design presentation/documentation
