Data Platform EngineerOur client is looking for a Data Platform Engineer to join their team.Required Skills:
- Skilled Admin/Engineer of general Data Platforms (Infrastructure and Application)
- Experience building out platforms and defining specs
- Experienced with monitoring and alerting practices
- AWS skills
- Infrastructure as code
- Cloudwatch
- Lambda
- EC2
- IAM
- Cloudformation using Terraform
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technology
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable with on call support and occasional off hour maintenance
- Preferred Skills (good mix):
- Qlik/Attunity Administrative/Engineering experience
- Alation Administrative/Engineering experience
- Unix
- Bash shell scripting
- React/Angular
- Python
- Java
- Golang
- Jenkins
- OS (RHEL & Windows) working experience
- Must be able and eligible to convert to FTE after 12-18 months.
- Potential for this position to convert to a Direct FTE role.
- Must be near or willing to relocate to Boston once campus reopens.
- Must be willing to broaden and learn new skills.
- Ideal candidate is versatile and willing to learn and support new technologies.
- HS Diploma/GED
