Under the general supervision of the Director of Annual Giving and Operations, this position manages donor systems and is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of gift processing, donor acknowledgements and database integrity are completed on the Raiser’s Edge and NetCommunity (BBNC) databases. Provides end-user support and reporting for constituent databases. On a weekly and monthly basis, assists in the generation of statistical donor activity reports. Responsible for assisting in monthly reconciliation of department revenue, fund management and reporting. Serves as Development liaison to Finance Department. Assists in management of data for all giving programs including direct mail/email.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee accurate and timely gift processing, acknowledgments and data constituent entry.
  • Responsible for maintaining data integrity of Raiser’s Edge and NetCommunity databases, and the integration of third party applications.
  • Create, reconcile and analyze reports, queries and imports/exports.
  • In conjunction with Finance and Development staff, create new funds, secure purpose statement and serve as internal resource for fund inquiries.
  • May perform other job related duties as requested or required.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to reconcile data to ensure accuracy; to use standard applications software and PCs to produce correspondence, maintain statistical and financial information in established databases and produce a variety of standard reports.
  • Must be detail-oriented, possess a keen eye for detail and accuracy, and handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced customer service department.
  • Good communication skills and a commitment to work in a team environment; must be able to interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two to three years of relevant work experience preferably using donor software such as Raiser’s Edge.
  • Ability to create and generate queries, exports, imports and reports from Raiser’s Edge.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
  • Familiarity with online payment processing software and online donor management tools preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
