Title: Device Management Administrator

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: Full Time

Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager of Systems and Storage, the Device Management Administrator will manage all cloud attached and on-premise end-user devices (laptop, mobile, etc.); installing and updating operating systems and application installations and patches, maintaining up-to-date security, and administering the BYOD program for all mobile devices. All application deployment and updates will be for both remote workforce and office employees. This role will involve working with all members of the Infrastructure team and report to the Manager of Systems and Storage. This position will have no direct reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Support a diverse mobile environment and manage iOS/iPadOS, Android, Windows, and macOS devices securely.
  • Enforce policies that help keep your organization's data safe on organization-owned and personal devices.
  • Effectively and proactively monitor the health and activity of endpoints across the organization.
  • Design and create reporting on device compliance, device health, and device trends.
  • Create and deploy app packages to deploy to both laptop, tablet and mobile devices.
  • Develop automated and self-service app deployment routines.
  • Track device inventory in the CCA environment (Laptops and mobile devices)
  • Systems Administration of asset management and patch management software
  • Work with the end-user services team to create
  • Provide telephone, email, and on-site problem diagnosis and resolution.
  • Respond to requests, from internal and authorized external business units, in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize and execute tasks, in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability and desire to conduct research and resolve tickets, from the end-user community, for mobile device issues and new products.
  • Work with a team of engineers to plan, design, develop, build, and deploy new MDM solutions.
  • Interface with the Microsoft Office 365 cloud to support the development of new MDM solutions.
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Representing the team in Change Control meetings to review and promote change requests

Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the IT industry
  • Minimum of 2 years network-specific experience configuring switches, routers, and firewalls in an enterprise environment
  • Project Management experience appreciated

Working Conditions:
  • Ability to be onsite in a CCA office in the Downtown Crossing area of Boston at least 4 days a week
  • Some travel required to the 10 CCA locations in Massachusetts and the Data Center in Medford MA

Knowledge, Skills and, Abilities:
  • Attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills
  • Ability to adhere to and meet deliverables following strict service level agreements
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software including recent Microsoft and Mac operating systems, and Microsoft and Mac common desktop applications
  • Knowledge of mobile device hardware and software including iOS and Android platforms
  • Experience in patching utilizing enterprise-class solutions (SCCM, Kaseya & Intune)
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise network infrastructure environments: Azure Active Directory, Office 365 cloud, etc.
  • Flexibility to think strategically as well as provide hands-on assistance and to support the organization in rapidly evolving requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience and Expertise with creating detailed process flow diagrams and documentation
  • Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible, and team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work calmly and constructively under pressure and meet deadlines; the ability to manage and keep track of multiple tasks simultaneously
