Job Description

The E-Commerce Manager, DTC & Marketplaces is responsible for developing and executing our E-Commerce Direct-to-Consumer and Marketplace growth strategy for the US market. This role will support every aspect of our go-to-market strategy in DTC E-Commerce that will focuson market-leading growth. Responsibilitiesinclude: direct account responsibility including planning, P&L management, and strategy execution and expansion for DTC and Marketplaces.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive DTC/Marketplace sales and support.
    • Develop E-Commerce programs, marketing activation, innovation launch executions, prepare and implement content improvements that drive sales and market share across BIC.com and key Marketplace sites, primarily Amazon.com and Walmart.com.
  • Lead expansion and execution of future DTC and Marketplace business to new channels or platforms.
  • Be an active part of a collaborative cross functional Brand / Digital / E-Commerce team to create, support, drive programs/direction that generates sustainable growth and long-term profitability for the DTC.
  • Support P&L improvement, lead in forecasting, drive sales plan construction, and lead program execution in partnership with US E-Commerce team and provide visibility to leadership.
  • Participate in NA/USA E-Commerce team meetings and involvement in overall business to ensure DTC is in-line with direction and growth opportunities.
  • Lead by influence and partner with cross functional teams including but not limited to Supply Chain, Customer Service, Consumer Engagement and IT to ensure the DTC/ Marketplace operational requirements are consistently met and don’t fall under marketplace thresholds.
  • Manage DTC and Initiatives, creating, implementing and updating content, new product set up and generating analysis.
  • Demonstrate leadership by staying abreast of performance results and industry trends and providing regular updates and recommendations to the organization regarding growth opportunities and system enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Business/Commerce, or other related fieldrequired. Post-graduate (MBA) preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience; 3+ years of E-Commerce/digital experience
  • Experience with Amazon and Omni-Channel accounts, preferably with a consumer products company
  • Knowledge of DTC and/or 3rd party marketplace selling preferred
  • Analytical background
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint primarily)
  • Versed in Google Analytics and E-Commerce platforms
  • Collaborative approach, ability to multi-task, high energy, sense of urgency, strong communication skills, comfort with fast-paced environment, ability to influence and tell persuasive story
