RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a Junior Application Support, Financial and IT helpdesk person for a boutique investment firm on Beacon Hill in Boston, MA.
Summary:This is an IT generalist support position for this 40-person investment advisory firm. This is a highly varied position including first level business application support along with support for computers, phones, email, and business applications, and then it will grow to supporting servers, network, business applications and IT specific projects.Duties: Junior Application Support will support servers and networks with guidance from IT Manager Support Excel macros and reports As a Junior Application Support, you will support users on MS DynamicsREQUIREMENTS: 1+ years of IT support or help desk experience with a degree, or 4+ years without a degree IT helpdesk experience Experience creating/supporting Excel macros and SQL queries, completing programming course Professional communication skills Experience with general Microsoft helpdesk tasks; Will be first call for computer issues Experience in User Setup and administration, roles, profiles, sharing rules and other security concepts Experience with data including SQL queries and Excel macros (an Intro to Programming course is enough to qualify here Highly detailed mindset; Able to follow technical checklists Excellent listening skills to determine user problem Work on IT projects Cloud Projects coming up: move to Office 365, move to MS Dynamics Get company paid certificationsThis job is fully in the office.
