Join us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)PROJECT: Commercial cloud (Azure) based data platform that can serve both Care Delivery Organization (CDO) level data warehouse / data mart needs as well as to feed, transform and store clinical and administrative data for the Optum Care Enterprise at a national level. Integration and distribution of data through a single platform, with that platform being a high-performance, highly scalable, elastic and highly secure commercial cloud will enable labor, infrastructure and non-cap tech savings across all participating CDO’s as well as in the Optum Care national level. This specific position will be involved in supporting the platform infrastructure, applications, and enterprise integrations.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Reuse , develop and share components, products & services to design modular , flexible, scalable, secure, reliable and quality solutions that deliver business value through superior user experience

Build processes and diagnostics to troubleshoot, maintain and optimize solutions and respond to customer and production issues

Participate in full product lifecycle including proof of concepts, architect, design and build, user stories, research and demos

Embrace continuous learning of engineering practices to ensure industry best practices and technology adoption, including DevOps, Cloud and Agile thinking

8+ years of relevant work experience

Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Go, python, java

Hands-on experience in full automated testing framework (unit & integration) – cucumber, Spock, Go unit test, Junit

Hands-on experience with big data and streaming frameworks - Kafka , Hadoop, Hive, spark, HDFS

Hands-on experience using PAAS such as Kubernetes, Openshift

Hands-on experience working on CICD platform and monitoring - namely GitHub, Jenkins, Grafana, Prometheus

Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably Azure
