NGS Associate Scientist

Execute NGS (next generation sequencing) library preparation (i.e., bulk RNA sequencing), quantification, and sequencing workflows to support the Gene Editing team.Operate and maintain NGS sequencers (Illumina and Oxford Nanopore platforms).Work in the sequencing space cross-functionally, with the ability to manage multiple requests and queues.Deliver NGS data with clear expectations of timelines to multiple teams and promptly update stakeholders of run completion.Effectively manage inventory of DNA, RNA, libraries, and sequencing reagents.Maintain detailed documentation of NGS run performance and scientific work in an electronic notebook.
