Principal Software Engineer | Boston, MA | $140K - $190K

Boston's most successful eCommerce company is building out a brand new team from the ground up. They're looking for the strongest engineers in the area to build out and scale their new systems and work with the product team to map this out. There is an opportunity for high impact and growth on some of their most critical systems.

Our technologies: Python, Spark, ElasticSearch, Airflow, RESTful web services

What do we do?

Build out next generation search platform

Provide technical leadership & own technical direction of team

Utilize the Python stack along with cloud and ML technologies

Who are we looking for?

Experience working as tech lead or senior engineer

5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience (Python, Java)

Background in event-driven architecture

Experience working with AWS

Experience in Lucene based search engines (Elasticsearch, Solr, etc.)

Excellent communication skills
