If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM is seeking a Digital Workplace Services Service Line Representative - Virtualization Specialist (SLR) who will operate as the subject matter expert and technical sales lead for digital workplace services opportunities with a specific focus on workplace virtualization technologies and solutions. You will engage with clients to demonstrate technical acumen, industry relevance and offering capabilities by leading technical components of proposal development, client meetings, presentation, demonstrations, etc. You must have prior in-depth experience with workplace virtualization solutions. Prior experience with other workplace services including service desk and deskside support services, collaboration services, and managed mobility solutions is desired. Experience with solutioning and selling complex, multi-year managed services deals deal sizes ranging from $1M to $50M will contribute to your success in this position.Additional responsibilities will include:

Leading customer discussions and presentations while describing IBM's point of view, solution and proposal through a value-driven, consultative sales approach

Conducting design, scoping, and requirements gathering sessions with our clients in the area of Digital Workplace Services with a focus on workplace virtualization solutions

Identifying and demonstrating the value of IBM services to our clients

Being a technical expert and leader of multi-disciplinary teams in developing complex solutions for specific client opportunities and in developing client deliverables such as a client proposals and presentations, request for information responses, request for proposal responses, and statements of work

Utilize strong leadership and consultative sales techniques to develop and broaden sales opportunities and compelling value propositions

Ability to work concurrently across multiple different sales pursuits and client sets

Working with other members of the sales team, develop pursuit strategies and support new business development opportunities, including defining/qualifying opportunities based on the clients’ technical and solution needs, determining engagement scope, and formulating potential solutions based on client requirements and objectives.

Maintain currency of technical and sales related skills as it relates in general to Digital Workplace Services and more in-depth as it relates to workplace virtualization solutions

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

At least three years’ experience in Digital Workplace Services sales with a focus on workplace virtualization solutions

At least five years’ experience in selling complex IT services to large enterprise customers

Deep understanding of workplace desktop and application virtualization solutions including technologies and capabilities from VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, Flexxible, and others

Ability to clearly articulate in verbal and written communication complex technical IT solution concepts to a wide variety of customer stakeholders from technical specialist through CxO executives

Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
