Summary: We are looking for an onsite support engineer to work with a team of about 13 employees. The ideal candidate will assist in technical issues that the employees are having. This position will be onsite from the start.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Test, image, and clean desktops, laptops, analyze, and troubleshoot, software and computer peripherals.
  • Monitor and track calls.
  • Assure that all tickets requiring follow up work and/or calls receive appropriate attention.
  • Provide technical support to end users via telephone.

Skills:
  • Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Developed abilities to work in a break/fix environment.
  • Able to lift and palletize heavy equipment (PCs, monitors, printers).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Education: High School Diploma

Experience:
  • Hands-on technical knowledge of laptop and desktop design and software installation
  • Some knowledge of server and networking environments.
  • The main function of the Site Support Engineer is to supervise the manufacturing and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with Help Desk Support
