Client is looking for a Systems Project Manager / PMO to join the Private Banking Technology team. In this role you will be a part of a team that drives technology solutions for the private banking business and clients. location: Boston/NYC, MA/NYjob type: Permanentsalary: $130,000 - 150,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:Responsibilities 1. Planning, Organization & Strategy Coordinate the strategic development, operational planning and implementation of a program(s) and their underlying projects ? Assist product/discipline owners in the development of business cases and budgets, including ROI analysis ? ? Ensure project scope and objectives align to the overall program strategy. Collect detailed individual work plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource plans in order to create an overall view of the program. ? ? Plan for risk and develops strategies for dealing with potential risks as well as covering them. Negotiate with project sponsor and other stakeholders to define project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout the project lifecycle. ? ? Organize project team and identifies roles and responsibilities of each team member. Negotiate the scope and approach, and acts as liaison between appropriate groups/individuals and vendors/contractors. ? Where required, negotiate with department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company. ? ? Provide project and portfolio status reporting and analysis to senior leadership teamsEnsure that all participants understand the objectives of the project and work together toward a common goal ? Work with the business and technology to create, manage, and track the budget for the overall PB technology team, track and manage actuals + forecasts and ensure that the team is on track to meet the budget goals ? Own the overall portfolio of solutions from a budget standpoint including RTB, ETB and CTB buckets ? ? Vendor management, SOW creation and tracking, New hire budgeting and forecasting Act as the PB tech Point person for the central IT financial team as well as the PB Business finance team 2. Execution & Delivery ? Drive execution of large, complex programs and projects from requirements to production. Manages execution of the project plan, controls the project budget, ensures the effective use of project resources and coordinates change control activities. ? Effectively manage a department-wide project team's time and allocate resources to ensure deliverables are completed. ? Identifies and manages project dependencies and overall critical path to ensure the project execution is carried out timely and within budget. ? Facilitates trade off decisions between quality, costs, resources, scope and time to prioritize demand. ? Sets project priorities, provides overall direction and guidance to assigned project team and coordinates schedules and other related project activities. ? Ensure that all project members adhere to strong project management and project execution standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle ? 3. Leadership/People Management ? Facilitates stakeholder engagement with division executives Communicates consistently with stakeholders to understand expectations and business strategy as well as to provide project status. ? Sets project priorities, provides overall direction and guidance to assigned project team and coordinates schedules and other related project activities. ? ? Presents program updates to line of program/project oversight committees. Ensures all work and documentation adhere to appropriate department/service line/project and SDLC standards. ? Qualifications Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Project Manager / PMO role leading complex medium-to-large scale technical projects and programs ? Experience working with the financial domain, preferably in Asset Management or Private Banking / Wealth Management ? Experience driving cross-functional programs to successful completion by managing dependencies, and skillfully negotiating milestones along the critical path ? Proficient at influencing technical and non-technical audiences with building processes and templates ? Ability to set clear expectations, prioritize activities, and deliver consistent support when working with other team members Aptitude for seeking out, identifying and mitigating constraints before they can develop into project risks ? ? Escalation management skills, Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills Proficient with Project Management tools: MS Project, Atlassian Confluence and Jira, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint Basic understanding of Metadata ? At least 4-5 years of experience owing the overall budget creation and ongoing monitoring / reporting process ? ? Preferred Skills PMP certification or equivalent is preferred qualifications:- Experience level: Experienced
