Position Summary

The Sr/Specialist, CMC Systems, Analytics and Reporting is key role in the CMC Program Management team that helps drive business decisions by analyzing data sets and reporting on metrics or key performance indicators at the program and portfolio level. The successful candidate possess critical thinking skills and the ability to understand and manipulate data to provide insights and identify trends that can help improve operational and business efficiencies within the broader Product Development and Clinical Supply (PDCS) organization.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Opportunity to develop, implement and execute reporting, metrics and advanced analytics for PDCS organization
  • Partners with key stakeholders within PDCS (DS, DP, Analytical, Device, Supply) to gather information, consistent data quality, and design process for reporting
  • Build understanding of CMC business and operational strategies and identify critical metrics required to support those strategies
  • Coordinate portfolio reporting/metrics including status/risk dashboards and supporting technology platforms
  • Build understanding of business and operational strategies and identify critical metrics required to support those strategies
  • Ability to handle various data sources, using data modeling work to develop reporting capabilities and valuable insights across these data sources
  • Provide visual reports based on the data sets and analysis, and create automated solution where possible
Partner with R&D Portfolio Management, IT business partners and technology consultants, where applicable, to ensure consistent practices and industry-leading solutions are in place

Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional experience, preferably in the biopharma sector
  • 3+ years experience developing, implementing, and designing reports, advanced analytics, and program/portfolio metrics in a project management function
  • Experienced in use of various software/ reporting tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, Clik etc.
  • Proven track record of establishing, maintaining, and improving leadership & team behaviors through the use of Metrics and Key Performance Indicators
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail coupled with strong interpersonal skills, self-awareness and ability to manage team dynamics.
  • Professional and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in core Microsoft software products (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project). Experience with MS Project online preferred.

Education

  • Bachelors' degree in business, life-science or computer science discipline
