Job Title:

Sr Technical Project Manager (Info Security, Cybersecurity & Privacy)

Location:

US-MA-Boston

Duration: 6+Months

Responsibilities:
  • Understand complexities of a large program and provide guidance for the development teams.
  • Interact with product managers and other organizational units such as QA, operations, and external IT partners.
  • Negotiate scope, schedule, and funding with external IT and business partners.
  • Establish common goals across multiple teams, and define useful metrics and reporting to track team performance.
  • Manage milestones across multiple teams.
  • Lead teams of engineers through the completion of all phases of the project.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of project management experience with a top tier bank, consulting firm and/or software company leading projects valued at $1M or greater.
  • 5+ years of experience in Info Security banking
  • Knowledge of InfoSec platforms, CrowdStrike, Deep Security, Zscaler, Microsoft Defender for Identity, CyberArk, Sailpoint, Varonis, Forcepoint, Splunk, Cofence, Anomali, DLP, etc.
  • Power user of office automation and project management tools including MS Powerpoint, MS Project, and Visio
  • Highly proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality projects.
  • Hands on with project documentation. Well-versed in industry best-practices and current technologies.
  • Must have prior background in managing large, multi-team engagements.
  • Understanding of systems development methodologies. Ability to direct and manage business partners, technology resources, subject matter experts, user interface design, QA, UAT, and all other groups involved in the end-to-end process needed to define, design and deploy product capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • BA/BS IT/ Computer Science, MIS, Economics, Finance, Operations Management, or a related discipline

Preferred skills:
  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English is preferred
  • MBA or related graduated degree is preferred

Educational Qualifications:
  • Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
  • Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent

Travel:
  • Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement
