Our client needs a Systems Engineer with expertise in virtualization technologies, storage systems, and Windows Server.Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer:- Manage and monitor health and analyze performance
- Recommend and implement change to improve system performance
- Test, upgrade, and migrate virtual environments
- Participate in rotation for after hours support
- Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of related experience
- Hands-on experience administering, troubleshooting, patching, and supporting VMware virtual infrastructures
- Experience and in-depth understanding of Active Directory, DNS and other Windows core services
- Experience managing private cloud environments as well as developing highly available virtualization environments d
- Knowledge and experience with HPE ProLiant servers
- Proven experience designing and implementing an enterprise-wide virtual infrastructure using ESXi v6.x / 7.x
- Demonstrated experience working with vendors on system troubleshooting
- Ability to automate processes through the effective application of scripts (PowerShell, Pearl, VBS)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing and delivering results on time.
- Microsoft/VMware certifications preferred
- ITIL certification preferred
