Manager notes:
- Knowledge of CRD, Eagle and Bloomberg experience also helpful.
- Understanding of FI derivative trading and FI security analytics
- Oracle database, data modeling, PL/SQL experience
- Works as part of an agile delivery team
- Gathers and documents business requirements and specifications. Works to understand internal client's business above and beyond the immediate requirements.
- Converts requirements into user stories, updates and creates functional specifications.
- Works with agile team and product owner to determine priority, scope and timetable for user requests.
- Acts as the liaison between the internal business groups and the development staff to ensure proper implementation of requirements within the expected timetable. Communicates any material modifications of the business requirements to the client.
- Follows the prescribed SDLC processes
- Provides application and production support to internal clients.
- Bachelor's degree and equivalent business experience in the Investment Management industry for a minimum of four years, ideally supporting or working with buy-side technology.
- Proven independent and focused worker who finds and implements systematic solutions for our Investment stakeholders.
- Strong technical knowledge around data harvesting, and data base mapping to support daily business processes. Good working experience with SQL utilizing data query tools (i.e. TOAD Data Point).
- Good understanding of fixed income and equity based securities
- Solid problem solving skills with the ability to develop, build and test thoroughly creative solutions to meet business needs.
- Proven documentation and analytical skills for gathering business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum development teams and knowledgeable of Agile Scrum processes and participation in associated ceremonies/events. Knowledge of JIRA & Confluence.
