About The Role
  • As UX Research Lead in the Product and Propositions team, you'll be responsible for the User Experience Research Strategy for teams enabling our client's partners to easily sell our Life and Health Insurance products through our digital platforms. We're looking for a passionate UX Research Lead that can help champion a user-centric company culture, advocate for our users at all levels, evangelize UX research, and deliver clear user insights to our product teams.
  • As UX Research Lead, you'll help define research roadmaps and coordinate related initiatives focused on our agent and customer experiences. You'll empower Product Managers and Product Designers to make user-experience decisions with UX research recommendations, co-discovery sessions, and clear key user insights.
  • You'll help establish our internal UX research framework, refine our research processes, and identify user research tools needed to enable our success.
  • Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies.
  • Create hypotheses, set research objectives, and reach unbiased conclusions
  • Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research
  • Validate assumptions that will guide the product team's designs
  • Discover patterns and insights through focus groups, interviews, surveys, field studies, card sorting, journey mapping, testing, and more
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics
  • Collaborate with Product Designers and Product Managers to turn user data into concrete product/service requirements that feed into prototype development, and influence product direction.
  • Assist the product team in making design decisions that directly impact value
  • Keep the product design team on track by focusing on specific goals through user research objectives
  • Research personas and investigate behavior
  • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
  • Ask questions, capture data, and analyze data.
  • Promote user centered design principles and standard methodology across the organization.

    About You
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience as UX Researcher or similar role
  • Bachelor or Master degree in a human behavior related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Experience with conducting user research and user interviews
  • Experience with qualitative and user-centered design methodologies
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product decisions
  • Ability to clearly communicate design processes, ideas, solutions, research results to teams, partners and clients
  • Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration
  • Phenomenal Interpersonal and communication skills, confident working with individuals at all levels
  • Experience using methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and Lean Startup.
  • Bonus: Experience with remote testing tools
