Active, energetic 1:1 Aide/PCA with good sense of humor for happy, sociable, cheerful 37-year-old woman with a physical and intellectual disability in Lexington home. Weekends: Up to 26 hours/weekend (8:30 am-9:30 pm preferred). Pay: $25/hour. Typical responsibilities: Bringing her into the community and helping her participate in community activities, going to museums, the mall, movies, or other fun places, going for walks, riding her adapted bike, and supporting her communication. Meals, toileting, and easy ostomy care (we will train), dressing, bathing, folding her laundry, going with her on errands, transporting her to activities, and helping her prepare for bed. Other activities as needed. Nonsmoker. Must have a valid driver’s license, car, clean driving record, and be willing to drive her. Reimbursement for gas used on the job and admission fees to museums, movies, etc. COVID vaccine required. Because of the personal nature of the job, female PCA wanted.
