Position: Cure Department LeadLocation: Littleton, MAHours: 7AM- 3:30PM Monday - Friday (1st shift, NO WEEKENDS!)Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Cure Department Lead to join our team and assist in the processing and preparation of our products.Responsibilities: Check humidity of strain next to take-down Stir/Rotate cupcakes, if proper humidity is reached it should be put in bin with correct information written on bin and batch tag present with bin. Check email for potential strain that needs to be sent to dry trim Update Takedown and Sample forecast on Microsoft Office and Excell, as well as a takedown and shucking report Takedown bins and bags of strains/sugar leaf on shelf to be sent to the lab or dry trim Check sample rack for potential strain to be processed. Maintain a sanitized and clean station to process/weigh strain sample without potential contaminates to be sent out for external lab data Make sure all sampling tasks are performed and recorded CCC compliant. Take down hanging strain if humidity is between 8-12% Record MET# for proper strain on white board including room # Remove nugs from stems in a process called "shucking" Weigh and record all flower taken down from trellis, shucking and tumbling. Operate Lift for takedown and Harvest assistance and bar takedown. Separate, weigh, and record stems for waste and bring to loading dock to be recorded and thrown away properly. Utilized tumbler to separate flower and shake. Bag up shake and record proper info. Weigh and record all takedown, shucking and tumbling procedures in MET and Biotrack to be CCC compliant. Send out an updated weekly report via email to managers and supervisors Refill iso propyl and spray bottles. Wash cloth rags Clean and sanitize bins to prevent cross contamination Maintain a clean work area at all times Communicate with other departments about possible assignments or assistants to help if needed. Attend lead meetings to ensure all procedures and employees from both sides are compliant and performing tasks appropriately. Stock necessary items for performing daily tasks gloves, suits, masks, etc. Operate Cryo and record data from processing cryo flower/waste. Oversee employees shucking, tumbling, and takedown. Perform monthly audits Assist Harvest/cultivation when needed. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role within the cannabis industry preferred but not required. Familiarity with shucking and processing techniques a plus. Ability to operate machinery effectively and safely. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Must adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding cannabis production and safety. Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to work in an environmen with kief in the air. Ability to bend, twist and climb ladders/stairs as needed Ability to utilize machinery including lifts after proper training BENEFITS 50% discount on product Med card discount through Medwell!
