The Custodian is responsible for taking care of the overall condition and appearance of the church building. Schedule is flexible and between 15-19 hours per week. It's based on worship services, religious education classes, social/coffee hour, meetings and rentals, with additional weekly hours as needed. Key responsibilities include cleaning and custodial duties, worship/meeting/event setup and cleanup, minor maintenance and repair projects, tracking inventory, and providing basic building security. The Custodian should take the initiative to resolve small maintenance or repair issues observed during the normal course of work and report those they are unable to deal with to the Parish Administrator.
