Our client, a local non-profit in Boston, is seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant to join their team! this role is onsite in Boston, Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm, duration for 2 months, and paying up to $22/hour. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today!Key Responsibilities:Open and sort incoming mail and packages.Maintain general email account.Serve as a liaison between the Finance Department and outsourced finance engagement.Ensure the timely payment of bills and communicate with vendors.File documents and maintain organized filing systems.Order office supplies and manage inventory.Scan and make copies of documents as needed.Prepare backup documentation for monthly contract invoicing. Record, copy and deposit checks. Assist with administrative tasks for the Executive Director and Finance Department.Help coordinate meetings, appointments, and office logistics.Manage office equipment and troubleshoot minor technical issues.Provide general administrative support to the team as required.Communicate building updates and scheduling matters to the team. Assist with the administration of payroll including printing and sorting timecards and distributing paychecks. Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to proactively identify and solve problems.Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.Confident, reliable, and able to take initiative.Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.1+ years of administrative experience is a plus.Experience using Mineral Tree (or Bill.com) is a plus.Experience using Ramp is a plus.Experience using Microsoft suite.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
