We are currently working with 3 clients in the Higher Education sector who are looking to hire candidates to run their busy front desks! The ideal candidates will be driven, detail-oriented, and have strong customer service skills. These positions are a great foot-in-the-door and are either 3-6 months or temp-hire.
Responsibilities:
Be the first point of contact for specific departments; Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work space
Greet guests; including students, faculty, and clients
Respond to inquiries via phone, e-mail, and chat
Handle data entry projects, scanning, and general clerical duties
Responsible for calendar management and event coordination
Support senior administrative staff when necessary
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and IT support
Assist with special projects for different departments
Requirements:
High School diploma required; college degree strongly preferred
At least 2 years of customer-facing experience (retail, hospitality, office)
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent phone etiquette; ability to maintain professionalism in a deadline driven environment
