Onsite Role Will support 2 Investment Operations focused teams - Small enhancements and trade operations team Want someone with:
  • Scrum master experience at an asset management company
  • Flow Master / Kanban experience
  • Familiar with Eagle Investments Systems applications / trade operations
  • Project Manager experience

Job Description: Working directly with the Scrum team and product owner, the Scrum Master/ Flow Master will support and facilitate the continual delivery of technical solutions and business value. They will leverage knowledge of the asset management industry to deliver complete business solutions aligned with the strategic vision and corporate goals. As a dependency to success, the Scrum Master / Flow Master will follow, and champion Agile best practices and guidelines as defined by the company. The Scrum Master will participate in, and provide input to, the ongoing efforts to improve efficiency of the Technology group and Agile function.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring team follows Agile values, principles and practices
  • Facilitates meetings and ensure Scrum events are held (Backlog refinement, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint, Sprint Review and Retrospective)
  • Facilitate Kanban team, ensure metrics are collected and leverage metrics to effectively facilitate meetings and process improvements
  • Coach Product Owner and Development team to facilitate learning, development and adoption of Agile best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner to prioritize, maintain product backlog and assist building Product Roadmap.
  • Holds the team accountable and ensures the team understands and meets goals
  • Facilitates conversation to create a plan to address process improvements
  • Tracks and publishes progress towards goals / project execution
  • Monitor budget and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Assist with internal and external communication to ensure transparency with the team, sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Qualifications:
  • Experience within the asset management or financial services industry - with at least three years as a Scrum Master.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict resolution and coaching skills.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred.
