Client DetailsMichael Page has almost 40 years' experience in executive recruitment, with operations in 36 countries, a world class training program and about 50 employees in our Boston Office. This is a full sales cycle, closing role, with outside (in person) client facing responsibilities (in non COVID times!). We offer a competitive base salary + a tiered bonus structure that is above market commission rates, quarterly trips and incentives for top performers and an uncapped career progression plan.

Description
  • Prospect, qualify and hunt new business opportunities to fill Software Engineering and Cloud Technology roles and drive talent to market via linked in, job boards, and tech networking events
  • Maintain and develop strong client portfolio through excellent relationship building / relationship management skills, as well as developing your ability to identify and build relationships with top talent in the market
  • Client facing meetings to pitch business solutions and negotiate contract terms
  • Source suitable candidates by getting to know key players in your industry and building strong professional networks
  • Negotiate offers and close deals
  • Build relationships with hiring managers between C-Suite and Director level - develop deep understanding of their positions and needs
  • Consultative sales approach via educating clients on the market, roles and responsibilities, as well as promoting candidate diversity
  • Proactively identify and recruit passive candidates, using sourcing strategies, cold calling, and networking tools to accumulate the top talent on the market
  • Actively promote executive referrals
  • Interview and calibrate all candidates, and make recommendations to hiring managers for interview selection
  • Develop and maintain professional client relationships with senior leadership, as well as hiring managers and candidates
  • Provide counsel to hiring managers during the assessment and evaluation of candidates, act as the primary negotiator and closer of selected candidates, as well as conducting thorough reference and background checks on all finalist candidates

Profile
  • 1+ years of sales experience desired
  • General knowledge of the technology industry or a passion for technology is desired
  • Be driven, motivated, and have the desire to build a sales career
  • Motivated by money and driven by reaching goals
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a high-energy, fast paced environment
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Outside sales experience a plus
  • Closing sales experience a plus
