- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Participate in all phases of software development including design, implementation, testing and bug fixing. optimize software for performance and scalability.
- Drive feature scoping and milestones.
- Handle customer escalations by working with the customer and customer success team closely to resolve production issues.
- Utilize automation frameworks developed by our automation team, to automate test cases in order to ensure quality and maximize development efficiencies.
- Collaborate with distributed and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of the product.
- Must have skills - Java, Scala
- Strongly preferred skills - AWS Dev
- Must have 10+ years of experience as Java Scala Developer or relevant role.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Proven hands-on Software Development experience
- Proven working experience in Java development
- Experience in the Spring Framework
- Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer
- Experience in developing web applications using web frameworks.
- Experience with test-driven development
