Job Title: Sr. Front End Software EngineerLocation: Boston, Dallas or Fully RemoteStatus: Full Time Role w/ full benefitsOur client, a global leader in SaaS and Data Analytics supporting the property management industry, is adding to their Software Development Team! This is a full-time opportunity with a generous salary and benefits package, AND you can work remotely full-time, if that is what you want to do. There is also the option to work in the office in the historic Boston, MA city center or in the North Dallas, TX office.In this role you will be part of a cross-functional product team delivering new features to a client base of over 14,000 end users. You will be part of a growing organization that is dedicated to engineering best practices and processes as well as continually providing opportunities for professional growth.- Work in two-week sprints building new features and enhancing existing features within the UX Dev team of the software platform using technologies like Angular, and other JavaScript libraries.
- Full stack design and development with a focus on maintainability, usability, scalability and performance.
- Be a positive influence on the team through design reviews, collaborating with other developers on the team, and ensuring adherence to coding and testing standards.
- Work closely with product managers to understand the future business direction with the goal of architecting the platform optimally.
- Work closely with technical leads and other stakeholders to develop project plans and participate in resource planning.
- Contribute ideas and work on solutions to evolve our CI/CD processes and tools.
- Participate in our engineering guilds, focus groups, and tech talks to contribute to the research and implementation of new technologies, tools, and architectural patterns.
- 6+ years of experience in developing customer-facing software
- Hands-on expert level experience with JavaScript and the Angular framework (React, and/or Vue are helpful, but the client is using Angular)
- Hands-on experience creating and consuming REST APIs
- Understanding of source code management tools such as Git, and the workflows associated with them (branching and merging)
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Experience with C#, .NET 4.5/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API a plus
