Lead Carpenter
Job Description
Looking for growth? Work/life balance? Benefits? Join a stable, high end construction company with a fifteen year track record of success.
We're seeking two full-time Lead Carpenters to lead a wide variety of residential remodeling projects, primarily on the North Shore of Massachusetts. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our success and responsible for managing the crews, working with clients; and ensuring that our projects are on time, on budget, and of the highest quality. You'll work hands-on in the field, training less senior carpenters and apprentices and handling more difficult carpentry work on your own. You'll still wear the tool belt, so you must love the balance of doing carpentry and managing people/projects.
To be successful, applicants must have the following skills/aptitude:
10 years residential frame to finish carpentry experience; 5 years in a lead carpenter role
Proven track record of managing projects to time schedule and within budget
High end finish skills of the highest quality
Strong communication skills and commitment to teamwork
Comfortable with technology
Willing to adapt to our work processes and procedures
We prefer candidates with OSHA 10, RRP Lead Safe Renovator, and an unrestricted CSL. We are willing to sponsor these certifications and licenses.
We offer excellent compensation, a company truck and fuel card. Our benefits package includes health and dental insurances, life and disability insurances, paid time off, and a 401(k) with employer match. We strive to make sure we have year-round, stable work for our crews.
